IMovie supports the audio from iTunes or a local drive/folder. And Apple Music is not included and the songs are encrypted. So you can go to buy the music from iTunes or download Apple Music as local formats using DRmare Audio Converter. It can convert and save Apple Music songs as you please and then import Apple Music to iMovie for use.
