Can't stream to Yamaha RX-V575

Hi I just downloaded SWYH today. It automatically recognized my Yamaha RX-V575 but when I select it to stream there nothing happens. I am assuming I should use the Airplay setting on my Yamaha as I have done with other streaming programs. But when I do that nothing happens.
Any suggestions? or is this receiver not compatible.

Clic sur NET jusqua “Server”
puis : apparait “stream xhat you hear”
clic
choisit PCM ou MP3
et hop listen !!!

Hi,

I was able to make it work with my V473. It must be the same procedure. Shall we try it?

  • Turn on the receiver, press the button “NET” on the remote until “SERVER” appears on the receiver display.

  • Start SWYH, open the “Stream to” menu, choose your receiver on the list.

  • Put something to play on the computer, check if the volume isn’t too low.

  • Back to the receiver, using the direction keys on the remote you should browse the available servers until you find “Stream What You Hear”, choose it and voila! It’s like you also needed to “tune to” the SWYH server on the receiver.

It work´s for me in a Yamaha RX-A820, this way, put a music in PC, send it thru SWYH and goes to Yamanha receiver, chose “SERVER”, move highlight do Stream What You Hear and choce MP3, it works with a litlle delay, but you have the stabilty of a PC to stream spotify instead Iphone.
