I LOVE SWYH. I use it to stream (HTTP live streaming) to Chromecast Audio devices around my house.
But sometimes I want to sit at my computer and NOT stream the audio, just hear it locally.
I can exit from the SWYH application, but then the Chromecast Audio devices disconnect, and so, to resume streaming to them requires a hassle (going to my tablet to start casting again).
Another option is to run around my house and mute the speakers I’m streaming to, but that’s a hassle too.
I’d rather just press a button in SWYH to mute the stream (send silence) until I press the button again. This would be awesome for me.
